July 19.2011 with Elder L in Durazno, Uruguay

hey all,

Wow, that's some big news about those fireworks. Me and Elder Dinkel are exceedingly surprised. Congratulations, Utah. Happy Pioneer Day. Fun fact: Pioneer Day exists worldwide throughout the church. It's obviously not as big as it is in Utah, but it is announced in the Liahona every year and some wards do activities...but not much.

Anyways, another good week. Matias got baptized, with much...rush. He was such a miracle baptism. He's ready to be a firm member in the church and we taught him everything in 2 weeks and he's 9 years old. He got baptized on wednesday by his grandpa and confirmed yesterday by his other grandpa. Cool experience. Also we got to go to the service for one of the zone leaders´ baptisms that was in our building and that I did the interview for. Carlos went too. Carlos is doing great. He's getting baptized this saturday. He's actually at a young men's and young single activity in the church right now getting to know members. He's awesome. I look forward to sending you the pictures of his baptism.

Everything's going well with the comp, the area, the ward, the district, the zone, and everything. We have interviews with the president tomorrow. The zone is doing really well, so he'll probably be in a really good mood with us. It'll be exciting. I get to do more baptismal interviews this week, so i'm excited for that. It'll be a good week.

Have a nice week, all!
